Orphanage Support

Creating Moments of Joy, Belonging, and Care

Every child deserves to feel remembered, supported, and valued.

Our Orphanage Support initiative is built around a simple belief: meaningful support goes beyond material donations. It is also about showing up, spending time, creating memories, and reminding children that their community cares about them.

Our Visits

For the past four years, we have been visiting the children of Friends Foundation Orphanage as part of our ongoing efforts to support and connect with them.

Our visits are centred around the children themselves. We spend time playing sports, organising games, sharing conversations, and simply enjoying their company. We want these visits to feel less like formal outreach and more like a day spent together.

Alongside our time with the children, we also carry donations generously contributed by members of our community. These have included clothes, blankets, toys, and other essential items.

And, of course, no visit is complete without ending the day with something everyone can enjoy — whether it is a shared biryani or pizza party.

More Than a Donation

While material support can meet an immediate need, the human connection created through these visits is just as important.

Our goal is to build a relationship that goes beyond a one-off contribution — to return year after year, continue showing up, and create moments of happiness that the children can look forward to. For us, service is not always about solving the biggest problem in the room. Sometimes, it is about making a child laugh, joining them in a game, sharing a meal, or letting them know that someone thought of them.
